   Film shows how a soil cement road can be made. Camera mounted on the bonnet of a car drives down farm roads. Shows Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food advisory leaflet. Weeds removed from surface, pulverised soil with rotary cultivator, man checks depth and texture, raked. Cement bags placed at intervals on soil bed. Cement bags broken open with a spade and spread over surface. Rakes cement, rotary cultivator over cement to mix it. Reshape surface. Fruit sprayer sprays water over the surface. Rotary cultivator mixes it until right consistency. Wallis & Steevens roller flattens surface. Finished road is tarred and chippings spread over it by hand and rolled in.
