Education

While agricultural colleges were founded in many cases in the first half of the 19th century already, they successfully attracted large numbers of students from the farming population only since the 1870/80’s when they took into account the seasonality of all agricultural production and changed their curricula to winter classes. From the interwar period onwards, they used films not only to propagate their own activities, but also as a teaching aid.
