1950s

The 1950s were marked by a differentiation in agricultural filmmaking. Issues such as the role of children or working animals in agriculture were explicitly addressed for the first time. Sound, colour and new stylistic devices such as cartoons were also increasingly used in films. In addition, television made its first appearance both as a producer and as a place of broadcasting.
