Second part of the two part film about the work a life on a lifestock farm in Friesland in the late forties of the twentieth century. Subjects in the part are: different ways of haymaking (haying, drying, turning and harvesting of the grass), with the help of horses and by hand and also with the first generation of tractors; the milk arrives at the dairy factory; the registration for the Frisian cattle studbook; horse examination; cattle examination; jubilee examination of the Frisian Cattle Studbook; heckle by hand; the cattle is brought inside for the winter.
