   Haymaking in the low middle part of Friesland.
Images of animals and plantlife in a meadow. Two man are pulling a barge. On the barge is a mowingmachine with a horse. On the lake a motorized boat is pulling the barge. A family is standing with a horse on a field. A horse is pulling a wagon over a dirt road. With the help of a horse gullies are made. More images of the work of the horse on the field.
Again images of the barge in a canal. On the field the hay is shaken with a machine pulled by a horse. With another machine the hay is put in rows. The horses get some rest. A horse with foal is doing al the work on the field. With a machine consisting of board with ropes the hay is being pulled on bumps by the horse. Images of the loading of the hay on a cart. The cart is uses to transport the hay off the field. Images of the feeding of chickens and a horse drinking out of a ditch.
