A Promotional film about CAF (Cooperational PurchaseAssociation Friesland) in four parts. In part one the story of Douwe Tjittes is told. He is going to marry and is told about the advantages of the CAF. Part two is not shown. In part three we see the barge "Op hoop van Zegen" travel from Leeuwarden to Rotterdam. In the harbor of Rotterdam wheat is taken in the ship. The activity in the harbor is shown. Also the old city centre centre of Rotterdam (which was destroyed by German bombs four years later). The barge starts its yourney back to Leeuwarden. In part four we are back with Douwe and his new wife Wietske who are taking an excursion to a factory of CAF. In the end Douwe becomes the newest member of CAF.
