Empty Herringbone Milking Parlour (8 stalls, 4 units). Cowman in parlour preparing it for milking. Cows collected from feeding area (barn), and tightly packed into collecting yard. Cows enter parlour stalls to be milked in batches on raised standing. Cowman uses pulleys to feed each cow as it stands waiting to be milked. Cowman washes cows from bucket hanging in pit. Uses strip cup then attaches milking machinery. Once cow has finished milking machinery is attached to another cow in the batch. Milk recorded on sheet. Cows let out.
